Links and interesting stuff
Comedy CV
If you want to familiarise yourselves with any of the acts appearing at the club you can find all you'd ever want to know and more at the 'Comedy CV' website. Full of biogs and pics of everyone who's anyone in comedy.
Chortle
Another great stop for those of you who are looking for info about clubs, comedians, or anything to do with comedy would probably have to be the 'Chortle' website.
They have a great info base and a forum for views and reviews - but keep it fair - after all we're only doing it for a laugh!
Boothby Graffoe
This really is about as good as it gets. Wonderfully surreal, always with something to say and a fabulousy funny way of saying it.
A Graffoe sighting is increasingly rare on the club circuit so if you want to see him then check this out. Tour dates, songs, pics, all you ever wanted to know and then some on this new site.
Chris Lynam - The Incredible, Unstoppable Titan of Humour
Chris really doesn't play enough over here.
Always extraordinary - this will help you find out where and when he is.
Addy Borgh
Addy's a truly inventive and fabulously funny comedian. Great writing, great delivery and a really nice bloke to boot!
A very nice site - lots of info, dates, photos and his voice-over tape for free
Jimmy Carr
The great Jimmy Carr who stormed The Mag on our opening night last October and again at the beginning of March.
Gig lists and info.
Ray Peacock
Always a great favourite in Dulwich, whether he's hosting the quiz on a Thursday or headlining or compering on a Friday or Saturday.
Find out what he's up to or what his alter-ego Ian Boldsworth is doing with Big And Daft! They're currently ripping it up on BBC Radio London on Saturday
Martin Beaumont
We love him down at edc. He compered for us on our opening night at the new venue and has been back a couple of times since to do some great sets. He writes (his play 'White Van Man' was a big success in Edinburgh last year) and he's also a bit of a tasty actor.
Is there no end? - certainly hope not - see him when you can!
Dominic Holland
Fabulously inventive - very big live - very big on telly. He played the old club a lot and he was with us for the first time at EDC in March.
Check him and his dates out on his site and catch him anytime you can
Howard Read
This is one of the best sites we've ever visited. A great stand-up, Howard has also won awards for his fabulously funny animations and they're all here.
You'll need a bit of time but its well worth it. Bookmark it and visit often.
Alfie Joey
Son of North-East coal miner, grows up in Workingmens' club. Decides at young age he wants to be Catholic Priest, but after ten years training, leaves to join Religious Order (studies alongside lovely Anna from Big Brother 1).
After five happy years as Brother Alan, he says goodbye to order, in order to be full-time funny guy. Which he is!!
