Do you ever find yourself sitting in your kitchen with a bottle of wine a couple of mates and a laptop looking at “You Tube” and thinking, “this is fun…I’d like to show this to loads more people on a massive screen in a pub”?

Well, now you can with our brand new mid-week night out “Show Us Your Clips”, the no-brainchild of your hosts top comedian Ben Norris and bezzy mate Simon Hickson (from Trevor & Simon).

Come prepared with suggestions for your favourite on-line video content to show to the group but beware, we will have appointed 3 judges in the audience and if your clip doesn’t meet their approval it’ll be gone quicker than you can shout “turn that s**t off!”.

There will be a prize for the person who suggests the nights most popular clip.

Come down to the Hob for the very first night on Feb 24th and “Show us your clips”

Imagine John Lennons childhood. A spirited teenager, curious, sharp and funny, growing up in the war shattered city of Liverpool in dreary post-war Britain. Two extraordinary sisters tussle for his love – Mimi, the formidable aunt who raised him from the age of 5 and Julia, the spirited mother who gave him up to Mimi’s care.

Yearning for a normal family, John escapes into art and the new music flooding in from the US. His fledgling genius finds a kindred spirit in the young Paul McCartney. But just as Johns new life begins, the truth about his past leads to a tragedy he would never escape.

We screen films exclusively for parents with babies under one year old. Enjoy the latest releases, classics, rom-coms, musicals and we will also listen to requests from you. Maybe you fancy a Mama Mia day or the Twilight saga? So no need to find a babysitter or worry about causing a disturbance next time you want to catch up on the movies. This is also a great way to meet other new parents.

A full bar, teas & coffees and nappy changing facilities are available. We also have a quiet room. Also we don’t have the kitchen up and running yet so feel free to bring in any food, or order a take away to be delivered to the Pub. (Menus at the bar)

1pm doors – Film 1.30pm
£2 – day membership.
